2D pattern block designs
Today, students used pattern blocks to create a picture from a pre-made design. Afterwards, one student designed her own flower. Later, we discussed what shapes we could use if we didn't have a hexagon.

3D shapes
Students have been learning about 3D shapes over the past week. They are learning the names and the properties of the shapes. Students are also learning how to sort the shapes by their similarities.
